Using Recording Lists
Recording lists are one of the most important views in TocaToca. They appear throughout the catalog, including search results, collections, favorites, playlists, and artist pages.
This is where you will find the available recordings and start listening.
Start a Recording
Section titled “Start a Recording”Click a recording or press the Play button to begin playback.
Playback starts immediately, and the player displays the currently playing recording.
Information About a Recording
Section titled “Information About a Recording”Recording lists contain a variety of information, including:
- title
- artist
- orchestra
- singer
- genre
- year
- collection
These details help you discover additional recordings throughout the catalog.
Using Linked Information
Section titled “Using Linked Information”Many items within a recording list are clickable.
For example, clicking on a singer, orchestra, or genre will display all available recordings associated with that item.
This allows you to explore the catalog step by step and discover new musical connections.
Selecting Multiple Recordings
Section titled “Selecting Multiple Recordings”You can select multiple recordings using the checkboxes next to each entry.
Selected recordings can then be:
- added to a playlist
- played together
- managed as a group
This makes it easy to create your own collections and save interesting recordings for later listening.
